Landscaping
All grounds are the property of the Association and thus are subject to supervision by the Board and/or the Property Manager. The overall impression of the landscaping must be one of neatness and care throughout the growing season. Below are the definitions for the 3 different types of association beds as well as a site layout depicting their location. If you have any questions or concerns over which type is located on your property and responsibility for it please let us know.
Association Bed
An Association Bed only contains association planted trees, shrubs, and plants. It is soley maintained by the association's lanscaper to include the below services.
- In the Spring remove leaves, debris, and put down mulch
- In the Summer prune all shrubs up to 8'
- In the Fall cut back of all perennials
Hybrid Bed
A Hybrid Bed is an Association Bed that contains either trees, shrubs, or plants planted by the homeowner. It is maintained by both the association's landscaper and the homeowner.
Association Responsibility:
- In the Spring remove leaves, debris, and put down mulch
Homeowner Responsibility:
- In the Summer prune all shrubs up to 8'
- In the Fall cut back of all perennials
Examples:
- All plantings around trees or mailboxes
- All annuals
Homeowner Bed
A Homeowner Bed was either originally added by the homeowner or was a Hybrid Bed in which the homeowner has planted a majority of all vegetation or the landscaping contractor will no longer maintain it.
The Homeowner is responsible for all maintanance and the beds must show evidence or regular attention by weeding, deadheading, pruning, and watering.
